At the beginning of the trials, Mitras is still a very young cat. Since the earliest days of childhood, he travelled the whole day or trained when they rested in a colony. This is the reason why he has such high stamina. Walking for hours on end does not pose a problem to him but this doesn’t mean that he has a lot of strength. He can’t lift heavy stuff and isn’t the fastest cat by a mile but if the task is to swiftly move the whole long day he will outclass most other cats.
Mitras fur is of an orange to red color. While this makes it harder for him to hide in the woods, he can be hard to spot on large sandy areas, especially in bright light. His fur isn’t very long but in the summer it can get very hot nonetheless. In bright light, his fur can make him look like he is on fire.
Mitras’ eyes are a mix of blue, green and amber. Most of the time they sparkle from excitement and curiosity, as he is still very young and many things that are normal for the adults and elderly are new to him.
Being intelligent isn’t about knowing a lot. It is about logic and thinking. Mitras has both of these even though he sometimes comes to the wrong conclusion and it can be hard to convince him about the opposite.
Even tough Mitras and his whole family are nomads that doesn’t mean, they have to be adventurous. They just don’t like to stay put and always want to be on the road.
Mitras, however, is adventurous as well, he wants to leave the sheltered group behind and experience his own journeys. This can quickly lead to trouble but he likes the fun more than he fears the possible outcome.
Being a young cat there certainly is a lot to learn but Mitras is especially studious. Whenever he finds the time (and a teacher) he is willing to learn something new.
Mitras is just 8 months old at the beginning of the new trials set forth by the legendaries. Of course, he is inexperienced and doesn’t know about many things. Most of the times this isn’t a problem but sometimes the simplest things can be a barrier just because he doesn’t know any better.
Being curious normally isn’t a problem. Being overly curious can become one. Mitras certainly is exactly that. Instead of asking, he will try himself. Instead of staying back, he will go forth. Instead of just looking, he has to touch.
Mitras is ambitious. Describing him there is no way around this fact. If there is something he can learn, he will try to do so. If there is the possibility of doing something remotely heroic he will.
Just because he wanted to be part of a prophecy that is hundreds if not thousands of years old and that he doesn’t even know of if it meant him, he started participating in the trials.
Think before you talk. Mitras doesn’t do this and more often than not this can lead to problems.
Hanging on to a good idea is good. Doing the same thing with bad ideas: Not so much. But even when something is obviously a bad idea, Mitras can dig himself into a hole and overhear all advice. So far nothing bad happened because of this but only time can tell if it will work forever.
So you remember that Mitras is studious and will always try to learn something from someone? Well, sometimes aforementioned someones don’t want to or have other things to do and that is the point where Mitras can get very annoying. He will just continue bugging you until you do what he wants.
